This blog is written by Henrik de Gyor to inform aspiring photographers.

Henrik was a digital photojournalist on staff with staff with several newspapers and magazines in the Washington DC area. He was an Adjunct Professor at the Corcoran College of Art and Design for 3 years where he taught photojournalism. He has been a also photo editor, photo researcher and worked rights clearance.

Henrik is requested regularly to be a photography judge at camera clubs in Washington DC area.

He has judged at the:

• International Photographic Society (twice)
• Manassas Camera Club
• North Bethesda Camera Club (four times)
• Northern Virginia Photographic Society
• Silver Spring Camera Club (twice)

He has been a portfolio reviewer at Northern Short Course in New Jersey, Rhode Island and Virginia.Henrik is also available for portfolio reviews and mentoring.
